Why I Became a Career Ownership Coach®

Throughout my career, one of the most rewarding parts of leadership has been helping other people develop and succeed. I have spent many years in business development, the life sciences industry, and leadership roles where I have managed, trained, and mentored professionals at different stages of their careers. I’ve always enjoyed helping people recognize their strengths and see opportunities they may not have considered.

Eventually, I began asking myself many of the same questions people face at a career crossroads: What do I really want the next chapter of my life to look like? Do I want to continue working toward someone else’s goals, or is it time to build something of my own? Can I create greater control over my time, income, and future?

Those questions led me to The Entrepreneur’s Source®.

Going through the Career Ownership journey myself changed the way I thought about my future. I learned that career ownership isn’t simply about owning a business—it starts with understanding what you want your life to look like and then exploring the paths that could help you get there.

Today, I use my leadership experience and passion for mentoring to help others navigate that same journey. My role isn’t to convince someone to become a business owner or tell them which path to choose. I help people ask better questions, challenge assumptions, explore possibilities, and determine for themselves what their next chapter could look like.

Background

My professional career has included leadership, business development, client relationship management, and extensive experience within the life sciences industry. Along the way, I have managed and mentored teams, developed professionals, built long-term relationships, and helped individuals and organizations identify needs and create solutions.

I am also a proud United States Air Force veteran, having served overseas in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. My military experience helped shape values I carry with me today—service, accountability, teamwork, adaptability, and a willingness to take on new challenges.

I especially look forward to working with fellow veterans who are transitioning from military service or considering a new direction in their civilian careers. Veterans bring tremendous leadership, discipline, resilience, and real-world experience to the table. Helping them recognize those strengths and explore how they might translate into career or business ownership is particularly meaningful to me.

I understand what it feels like to have a successful career and still wonder, “What’s next?” As a Career Ownership Coach®, my goal is to provide a comfortable, judgment-free environment where people can explore that question without pressure.
